About
Patrick J. Mulhern, Esq., is an accomplished attorney with more than four decades of experience having served in both the public and private sectors. Since 1985, he has been a partner at Mulhern & Klein in Wantagh, New York, where he concentrates his practice on estate administration and litigation. In November of 2025 Mr. Mulhern joined The Fedele Law Group PLLC as of-counsel. This new role will allow him to segue into full-time retirement.
Mr. Mulhern was admitted to the New York State Bar (Third Judicial Department) on January 31, 1978, and the same year to the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He later expanded his federal practice with admissions to the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York on December 11, 1980.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Mulhern built a distinguished record of public service. From 1977 to 1979, he served as an Assistant County Attorney in Binghamton, New York, followed by his role as Assistant Attorney General in the Claims Division of the New York State Department of Law in Hauppauge from 1979 to 1983. He later worked for the Long Island Railroad Legal Department in Jamaica, New York, from 1983 to 1985, gaining valuable experience in transportation-related legal matters.
Mr. Mulhern earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Iona College in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
He maintains active involvement in several professional organizations, including the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, where he participates in the Trusts, Estates and Elder Law Committees.
Known for his dedication, depth of knowledge, and long-standing commitment to his clients and community, Patrick J. Mulhern, Esq. continues to be a respected member of the New York legal profession.
